“ once I was on my senior school party group, we learned that group work was so important to the success and really revealed in our performances. My dancers are known as “SilkDollz”. I spent my youth watching my personal favorite party music artists such as Janet Jackson, Madonna, Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, J-LO. They inspire me to carry on to add dramatic and choreography that is theatrical my programs. I’ve learned, finding your group always adds to the fire, especially if you learn a team who understands your eyesight the way you do.
Pulling from her pharmacy name, “RX”, she has created a superhero chemist vigilante comic book character that she portrays on phase in certain parts of her show. Taylor X wants to push this idea into an anime video series in the future as she would like to create her own comic book and turn it. This woman is in the beginning phases, sharing her “Taylor X : Origins”, comic video clip on phase. Her sister- in-law, Kristie Sanders, is the wonderful illustrator that brings her story to life. The superhero glam woman stems from many influences and characteristics from growing up. For instance, Taylor X is a super fan of joss Whedon’s TV Series “Buffy the vampire slayer”. She loves arts that are martial woman power but also dresses with glitz and glam and all sorts of things bling. “ I enjoy rhinestones and have an obsession to rhinestone nearly every costume I make”, laughs Taylor X.
Becoming a medical practitioner of pharmacy, and working while striving for her dreams are not her only battles. Taylor X has become an advocate for cancer of the skin prevention and has now fought her own battle with melanoma as she ended up being diagnosed with melanoma cancer of the skin in June 2014. Since her diagnoses, she has went under 12 biopsies and 5 surgeries. Now, she is in the clear and doing fine but undergoing follow ups with her dermatologist regularly. In June 2016, she performed her single, “Fire”, at the Charge up Charge Pynk Champagne Gala in Atlanta, GA; an advantage to celebrate cancer survivors, raise understanding and funds for cancer warriors. Furthermore, through advocacy on social networking, she is campaigning to increase understanding and avoidance, empowering womales that are young men to prevent skin cancer and find out about early detection.
Taylor wishes to inspire others to reach for their dreams, to give up and never to satisfy their lives with happiness by doing what they love. As Taylor would say, “live your life to the fullest, because it doesn’t count. if you’re not having fun,” She has a “go big or get home” kind of mindset and she’s in it for the haul that is long.
