As a graduate of Bachelors of Arts major in Multimedia Arts, we are given the opportunity to find a name for our portfolio. A name that will tell a story or explain briefly a part of our personality. The origin of Doppelganger comes from my zodiac sign: the Gemini. Versatile and great communicators are some of this zodiac sign’s greatest characteristics. Creating better customer experiences I live to create creative multimedia outputs that highly serve the needs of an organization. My strength and reputation lies on my experience to take people on a journey through my designs. INKMAN LIMITED The Objective: As one of the leading producer of rubber stamps in New Zealand, Inkman has found the need to level up its range of products. The new laser technology is in place and various testing are required. Though they are one of the most successful in the industry the company lacks the materials and creativity to promote its new face. The Challenges: With limited resources in imagery and a poor quality camera. Photo composition and manipulation using Photoshop are heavily used. Combining multiple pictures to create beautiful imagery for every products that they have. The Outcome: The print materials that I created was used to provide awareness to the market about their new range of products, gave sophistication in their look and also gave a boost in their sales. The tests that I conducted was successful and the new products are ready for production in no time. THAI FUSION LIMITED The Objectives: To improve and redesign all of their four restaurant’s menus and other print materials (Grasshopper, MaiThai, ThaiStreet and RedCrab). There are menus that are done on a colored paper with clip-arts from Microsoft Word which lessens the over all appeal of the establishment. The designs should show the uniqueness of each and will match the look and feel of their corresponding restaurants. To work closely with the owners and present them various studies according to the vision that they have and with the creative direction that I believe is best. The Challenges: There are limited imagery that I can use and some have really low resolution that is not fit for a quality print. TALEGENT The Objective: Talegent needed design improvements in their unexciting on-line simulations and print materials. They wanted to tap on the possibility of incorporating the ‘fun’ aspect of animated elements in some of their presentations and be able to use other print mediums to communicate effectively to their market. The Challenges: Although they have an image bank that I can use, most of the images that they have are dull and have very low resolution. Prezi and a built in 3D animation creator was first introduced to me, it took me a while though to learn these programs. The Outcome: Working closely with their creative director, I was able to create a design guideline to provide design consistency on all their materials. Brainstorming was strongly encouraged and many studies are presented in every design task to find the winning idea. HSBC GLOBAL PUBLISHING SERVICES The Objective: Create static or animated banners for a specific HSBC site or client. Brainstorm with other designers and creative directors to be able to produce an outstanding artworks for a certain task or special event. Be able to communicate properly to clients and provide solutions and support to their queries. The Challenges: There are instances that a task have a very strict deadline that require for me to work longer hours. There are ideas that require the creation of storyboards but sometimes the simplicity translate to a very high difficulty in creation. The Outcome: Accomplishing tasks through accurate and professional work output, quick turnaround time, and reliability has provided the bank more savings.
